Originally known as the African Lion Hound, he carries all the fierceness of the “King of the Jungle” in his name. The Rhodesian Ridgeback has accompanied and supported man for centuries, and today he is at your side to begin his modern adventure, made up of different (compared to those of his ancestors) but no less demanding challenges.
Following man and adapting to the rhythms of modern life is not always easy and requires study and respect for instinct to become a faithful, happy and fulfilled companion.
And it is from the study and knowledge of his character that we will begin to add the precise work of adapting him naturally to social life.
Thanks to a good work of instinctive activities (especially concerning scent training or nose work) we will discover how to shape and improve some behaviors so that he can feel comfortable in any situation and we will introduce a very open approach to the basic obedience training exercises that will have to be particularly stimulating and low stress in order to have a good response from our Rhodesian Ridgeback.
